  • A petite historic barn near the parking lot is often used as a welcome area
  • Listed on the National Register of Historic Places - use utmost care to preserve the property.
  • Portions of the property remain private for the owner's use only.

Venue Features

  • Two 2-hour property visits for planning
  • Access to the grounds:
  • 6 hours (for 2026) or 2 hours (for 2027) the day before the event for ceremony rehearsal and load-in. (A two-hour rehearsal dinner can be added for $500)
  • 14 hours the day of the event for setup, dressing, photos, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and cleanup.
  • 4 hours the day after the event for cleanup & load-out. 
  • Access to the house for 4 hours on the day of the event for VIPs (wedding party & family) to get dressed and take photos (additional time may be added)

Property Access

  • Venue staff is available before the event for tours, questions, and planning visits. 
  • Venue staff is on-site during the event to handle venue-specific issues only.

Support

  • 40’x100’ clear top pole tent set over decorative stone terrain, with central pole covers and string lighting (tent sides not included; flooring not required). The tent is primarily used for receptions, but must be able to accommodate all event activities in case of inclement weather. Clients are responsible for renting and coordinating any additional tents or tent amenities. 
  • Luxury 3-stall restroom trailer (not handicap accessible)
  • Ample onsite parking with easy guest access and a parking attendant
  • Access to water, electricity, and an on-site dumpster
  • Two vintage bar fronts, six bistro tables, two garden tables, two market umbrellas, and bistro-style lighting (location restrictions apply)
  • Clients must rent chairs, tables, linens, and all other event furniture for their ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. 

Amenities

  • Couples are required to hire a wedding planner/coordinator to manage setup, cleanup, event flow, vendors, and any other necessary tasks.
  • Vendors must be chosen from Heartland’s Preferred Vendor List or pre-approved.
  • All on-site vendor activities should be completed during the rental period. The load-in, setup, teardown, and load-out of rental items may occur outside the rental period, but the venue must approve the timing in advance.
  • All décor must be freestanding, cause no damage, and be entirely removed by the end of the rental period.
  • Fireworks and smoking are strictly prohibited, and the use of outdoor candles or sparklers is limited to approved instances. 
  • Alcohol is permitted when served by a licensed and insured bartender.
  • Amplified sound must be off by 10:30 PM on weekends.
  • Couples and onsite vendors are required to carry liability insurance. 

Rules & Requirements

  • Wedding dates are available late April through early November
  • The Traditional Wedding Package is $15,635, including 6% sales tax.
  • A 25% deposit and a signed contract are required to secure a date. (Contracts signed online.)
  • Payments accepted via cash, check, or credit card (no processing fee).
  • Remaining balance divided into three 25% payments; final payment due 90 days before the event.
  • Extra charges may apply for: additional hours, additional events, damages, or other expenses.
  • Cancellation Policy: Deposit is non-refundable; refund eligibility for other payments depends on the timing of cancellation.
  • Rescheduling Policy: Allowed only if requested 180 days or more prior. The deposit is always non-refundable/non-transferable; other payments may be applied depending on the timing.
